Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Hey guys, was out at the local bar last night and approached a girl who was sitting with her sister and a guy friend. She seemed interested and SHE actually brought up us getting together to shoot pool sometime. So she added my number and texted me her full name.

After we chatted for about 10 minutes back and forth, her sister was giving her a few looks being a c*ck block and the girl ended up saying "hey so..I think I am going to spend the rest of the night with my sister." So I just said in a joking way "kicking me out huh? ha cool no problem was nice meeting you, lets shoot some pool soon." and she agreed. I walked away and they left 5 minutes after.

So its the next morning. Do I text her anything? "Hey was nice meeting you, lets shoot pool next week." something like that??

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

As annoying as the 3 day rule is, it exists for a reason. You want to appear as a high value man who has many options, not the dork sitting by the phone waiting for her to call or blowing her up all the time. I'd wait couple days and txt or call her to set up date.

Pretty much what @jurry said. I know, you're thinking: "But what if I don't contact her right away, and some other guy comes into the picture??" Reality check: one, this girl is still single. Which means two: she's been rejecting the majority of guys that have been hitting on her. Why? Because three: all of those guys called/text her the next day, thus making them look desperate. Even if you try to send the most suave/funny/flirty/****y text you can think of, the reality is that by sending it the next day, it's already setting off an alarm in her head that you have NO other options.

So, let it linger. I usually wait 4 days before calling them up. If I call them and they don't remember my name, good - it means she didn't have high interest and I can move on to the next option. BUT, if she does remember my name, it means I stayed on her mind for 4 days and it's time to set up a date.

Hope this helps!

Same situation here bro, I number closed the best looking girl in the gym by far. Every guy turn heads, shes a model, dancer and got a great body. I introduced myself, teased her a bit and told her about my business plan that's all about health and she was very interested in hearing more about it. I number closed to stay in contact and build rapport that evening. I texted her at the spot (whatsapp) hey this is *Thegambino. She read it today but no response, kinda logic to be honest coz I only introduced myself.. anyway

It's the next day now, I know she was interested but Im gonna wait until sunday or monday to call her and set up a date

I had no success with texting the next day. Wait a few days then do it. Harry's post makes sense.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I think it really depends on the situation and what you want from the whole thing. If you're meeting her out at a bar, you have to strike whilst the irons hot, if you wait too long, you're

If I meet a girl during the day I like to text her a few hours later if the interaction was good and just say something like "really random meeting you today" then some callback humour. Or there's the classic, can't remember who came up with this but I like it, "hey Dave, I just met this girl today, she was cute from Scotland but she might be one of those pervs you warned me about ;) should I text her?" This has never really been a problem, if she doesn't reply, she probably wouldn't have replied the next day or the day after that.

At the end of the day you want to be coming from a place where you aren't needy and no matter how long you wait, if you're needy it will show itself at some point. A guy who isn't needy can text her straight away because he's just living his life and going for what he wants. That's why I think vibe is so important, get your vibe right and you've won half the battle.

You're a man right? Text her when you feel like it. it could be the next day or next week. There are no concrete rules in the dating game.
