Master Don Juan
It has been proven time and time again that religion cannot be debated here. No-one is going to change anyones beliefs...
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Peoples views are changed by debate all the time. Sure, many who flame back and forth have entrenched views, in religious debates particularly, but there are always people looking to examine an issue dispassionately.aftershock said:It has been proven time and time again that religion cannot be debated here. Correction mahon83050, It is the Religion of Roman Catholicism that initiated the Crusades and the Inquisition Killing and destroying any one NOT a Roman Catholic, including Jews, Muslims and the True Christian Believers refusing Catholic Doctrine. Roman Catholics labeled True Christian believers as Infidels, destroying many of the original bible manuscripts.Yes, Roman Catholics have done bad things in the past (Crusades, Inquisitions) etc. but Roman Catholics have been quiet in the last 500 years.
I agree with what you are saying; but SoSuave isn't the place for it. The members have proved over time that they cannot have a debate on religion.Nighthawk said:Peoples views are changed by debate all the time. I used to believe in God when i was a kid. Didn't have a religious upbringing, never went to church, but I prayed, because it was comforting I guess.
As I got older and was exposed to the arguments of the atheists, and developed a more rational mind, I concluded that there was no evidence for God, and that most religions were in the business of power and money.
Besides, it's always fun asking Christians questions they can't answer like do monkeys go to heaven and if not why not? I bet if Jesus had a pet monkey he'd be allowed.

Isn't that what I said, the Roman Catholics.
I see you are from Richmond, Va and must be a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant.
While I can agree with some Protestant attacks against the church, I see Protestantanism as a "copout" in a way. I know Protestants don't believe we are judged on any good works that we do in this life. I interpret that as Protestants saying this: "Don't even bother to try and be a good person, it won't save you from hell or get you into heaven. Heck, you can still be a selfish a-hole and treat people like garbage, but as long as you believe Jesus Christ is your lord and savior, you are saved." Don't even bother trying to live a righteous life.
