"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Much of the world around us functions on making other people happy. People tell other people what they want to hear. "Of course you're not a wimp, you're a good person!" Women are especially bad for this when they dump a man. "It's not you, it's me. I just want to be alone for a while to figure myself out". This kind of crap has gotten humankind absolutely nowhere. People don't evolve when they rely on their feelings rather than facts. The world is trying to function on emotion, and it just doesn't work.

When a man decides he's going to be a nice guy and function on his emotions in a relationship (which is what the woman already does), it is destined to fall apart. We've got two people acting and reacting with their emotions, and it all goes to hell. The two parties end up hurt, and nothing makes sense.

It's time for it all to change, my fellow Don Juans!

Women have been very successful converting men so they function on their emotions. Women will blame the man for hurting their feelings even when it's unintentional. This nifty little trick is supposed to make the man aware that she is a fragile little child, with emotions that should be handled very delicately. She lets him know that she cannot handle her feelings being even slightly damaged, and he should be careful what he says and how he says it.

Awww, the poor little baby! Here, have a luke warm bottle of apologies. I'll make it all better by apologizing profusely.

Then she spits up all over your new clothes, but you forgive her because you were responsible for hurting her, right?

WRONG.

Is a child responsible for making their parent an alcoholic? NO.
Is a child responsible for their uncle Jim molesting them? NO.
Is a person responsible for someone stalking them? NO.

You don't have control over the woman's emotions. You cannot control how people are going to react to what you say and how you say it. The woman has to deal with her emotions, you don't since you're not her! If she took something you said as hurtful, but you had absolutely not intention of making it hurtful, you're not to blame. Why apologize when you don't even know what you're apologizing for.

I'll tell you what you why you're apologizing. She has jumped to some stupid conclusion, and she has caused herself emotional grief over it. She's blaming you for her conclusions because she wants her conclusions to be yours. She wants you to give your self-control over to her. She wants to command what you do and when to do it. She wants you to be her toy.

Children outgrow their toys eventually.

Unless you say something intentionally hurtful, there is no reason to apologize for her being a woman.

Here's some examples of when to apologize and when not to:

You tell her you don't want to go see Flippy the Dolphin's Magic Kingdom, even if she'll be there to keep you company. She jumps to the conclusion you don't like spending time with her. No apology necessary.

You tell her she looks and smells like Mr. Ed in the morning (Mr. Ed is a horse for those of you who don't know). And you smell like vanilla? Better apologize, a55hole.

You tell her you want to go out with the guys for a bit, and she wants to come with you. You tell her you just want some time with the guys. She starts crying that she's not as important as your friends. No apology necessary.

You tell her that her feet look like they got disfigured in a snowblower accident. Apologize you ugly bastard.

It's important to know when she's the one being unreasonable, and you're the one being unreasonable. Apologizing is only a sign of weakness if your weak stomach can't deal with the smell of women's bull5hit. If you can't handle it, then continue to vomit your apologies all over her. She'll get tired of the nausiating smell of your apologies and find a man who won't take her 5hit.
