ok well ive been downloading videos from the internet in .avi or avi. form, and i cannot play them... i really dont like this as everytime im looking forward to watching this videos and then it turns out i cant, really sucks. i have quicktime, ive tried playing them in there but it still doesnt work. my windows player is infected with some kinda virus so i cant open it. is there a program i can download from the internet that will play avi files?

Try searching for BS Player - it's free and pretty good.

Also you might need to install some codecs to get your avi files running, including the latest:

divx (essential for avi files)
xvid
ac3 (install this if movies run without sound)

You can find them by running a search on google or yahoo.

haha its not porn....its a boxing fight, pulp fiction, blow (not porn) and a couple of the doors videos. i try to keep my porn in mpg files

Try VLC media player. it's been able to play anything that I've ever thrown at it.
