"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Yet Another Boot Camp Journal

So her is my official commitment to attend and to successfully complete boot camp training!

As many others I have been inspired and motivated by Walden’s progress and success.

After I got to know this site I sat down a bunch of hours and thought about my past behaviour towards women and how I was a complete AFC. Yeah, I sucked. But now I’m on RAFC level and finally I’m ready to start.

So I’m looking forward to improve myself from RAFC to a DJ.

Well, gentlemen. Here is my journal, and hopefully you lot can help me with your advice and give me some tips.

P.S.: Since I’m foreign my English might suck from time to time but I hope it’s nevertheless understandable.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Week 1 Day 2

Let the games begin, it’s DAY TWO on!

After having my hair cut and myself tanned I went downtown to start exercise one.

While I was prowling ;) through the city and did some shopping I tried to establih and hold eye contact. At first it was kinda awkward, I felt like stalking these people, but then suddenly I was feeling more and more confident.

I noticed throughout this exercise something peculiar. Some people held EC from far, but as we were approaching each other they looked downwards ‘till passing then they gave a short glance and looked again down to the ground.

Especially girls! Even the HB8-9s. It was very, very, very damn hard to get EC with the hot ones.

Alors, then I tried to roll in with exercise two, but I just coudn't smile and say hi. It was freaking me out... then a guy (wonder why, maybe I appeared kinda queer to him) ECed me and said hi, which gave me enough confidence to try it on some girls. Summed up:

1h EC

5 His (not included the His female shopassitants since it's their job to be polite, though it's almost a wonder if one gets a friendly shopassistant).

Things I'll improve: I'll try to say Hi to anyone anytime anywhere after ECing and go on with ECing that way I did.

Week 1 Day 3

Hey ya, so it has been day three so far.

Had a lot of studying and work to do so no chance of going to the mall/downtown/another city etc. but

I went to a party with a friend- I didnt know anyone. I ECed every1 but for god's sake few would answer or even hold it for a sec.

I started some convos with strangers, it aint that difficult but feels kinda weired at the beginning... I learned what is necessary to become a bouncer (was funny to talk to him he was foreign and his accent was so cruel i hardly understood what he said ;)

So... I won't count the Hi's and ECs from the party coz 1. not many girls and 2. it's -sounds strange- but to easy in some way.

Week 1 Day 4

So ... havent been up to much lately. Studying and since everythings closed on sundays out here there wasnt a real chance to go somewhere to get the remaining Hi's.

@spider: I always try to deliver a small smile, but its kinda hard to get the right mixture between a creepy/needy/whatever unpleasent or negative smile and a faint smile!

Yet I guess I found the right mixture (I practiced in front of a mirror) but I'll try it out tomorrow.

btw thx for answering i thought no one is interested since there have been so much journals on here...

I also experienced that I'm still not that secure in talking to HB, I'll have to practice that as well.

In addition to that the EC-thing is like autosuggestion. It says like Hey look here im confident to others and I start believing it myself!

So ... I'm motivated as hell to keep the BC going and I'll get in the field tomorrow to get the remaining Hi'S!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
