Master Don Juan
Yelling is awesome.
Man, I absolutely adore yelling. If I had my way, normal tone of voice would be yelling.
Last night a woman was over and I was making dinner in the kitchen. I'm pretty light on my feet, so I was easily manuevering around her. But she kept apologizing for being in my way. Her in my way wasn't irritating at all, in fact it gave me an excuse to fondle her. However, her profuse apologizing was getting on my nerve. Finally, after yet another apology, I (pretty much accidentally) raised my voice just a hair over "raised": "Get the FVCK OuT of HERE!"
Man, I was joking in a "jeez, I'm so irritated, watch me raise my voice" way. I thought for sure she'd get the joke: I even had my fists clenched and eyes squinted all "Beavis" style, like, "Yeah, yeah, I'm mad... Heh, MAD! Heh, eheh."
She didn't think it was funny. In fact, she immediately, I mean IMMEDIATELY, complied. She almost RAN out of the kitchen. She then proceeded to cry.
Oops. I thought about apologizing, but I was so awestricken with the power of my yell that I decided: "She was in my way, and she was on my nerve, so I have no reason to apologize." So instead, I offered her this: "Oh that's right, you've never heard me yell. Hmm... well, if you're crying now, hope you don't have to hear me ACTUALLY yell." And, I left it alone to ponder the mechanics...
The thing is, I never lose my cool. I never need to yell, so I rarely get a chance to, much less get a chance to yell for a good reason. The more I thought about it, the more I realized. Some people have came and went in my life and never been graced with hearing me yell.
And therein lies the power. I yell so infrequently that when I do, those that know me immediately know: "Some sh!t is going down (or is about to)." Noone takes my yell as a joke, noone second guesses the intent, I'm pissed. As I mentioned before, it takes some doing to get me pissed.
Now, I've read plenty around here about the power of your voice in terms of seduction, and I recommend to all that they read up on it as well. It never really struck me as hard as it did last night: the power of the voice is HUGE. I never gave it enough credit.
I've read about developing a "powerful" voice. The only tips I seemed to see were "Practice" and "practice in front of a mirror". Hogwash.
I know where I developed my voice: calling cadence in the Army. Essentially, I would yell at the top of my lungs until I all but lost my voice, then I'd yell some more. It makes me want to cough just thinking about it.
See, men don't have loud booming voices and never get them because we never NEED them. Always indoors, talking on the phone, whispering in the bedroom... you never GET to yell.
For anyone who desires having a "big" voice that fills a room with a thunder and authority I offer you this tip: Practice, indeed, but not in a normal tone. Go out to the woods and yell. That's right, yell as loud as you can things like: "Give me your phone number", "Keep your hands off of me", "Get on your knees, now" and fun relative things of that nature. Yell so loud, and so long, that you lose your voice.
If you can't yell in seclusion, start frequenting sporting events or concerts where yelling is appropriate. That is, go to football games or rock shows; don't go watch golf or opera.
Yes, it will sting a bit, but think of it like lifting weights: no pain, no gain.
After a couple sessions, you WILL develop a voice that women will feel. You'll have a smooth, rich, tone that will cause even the most mundane expressions to make a woman moist.
And watch, you'll start having people tell you things like "you should get a job in radio" or "you should do voiceover work" and things of that nature.
Happy yelling.
