yall ever get a sore throat after making out with someone new?

This has happened to me a couple of times in the past.

Ill make out with someone new, as ill be dating them for a bit, and Ill get a sore throat/cold that lasts 3 days and then goes away.

Why does this happen? Is it just that my immune system isnt strong enough to handle all the foreign bacteria? I dont get it.

I read somewhere then sometimes when you kiss someone, since each person can have a diferent set of bacterias, you can get some sore thorsat for some days, with after sometime it disapear, course it also mentioned its more common to first time you kiss someone, after you should be ok, it also can be she was with a cold and was not feeling sick, but it was enough for you to get sick
