"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I'm usually half way decent at reading girls, but I'm just dead confused at this girl.

I asked her to homecoming, and she said no. I kept the convo going, and then peaced out, I was a little upset, but w/e. Move on. This was about 4 days ago.

Today at school, we were just talking in band, and she initiated kino a few times, and started all of the conversations, and made a lot of eye contact. In the halls she always says hi, and always initiates kino.

She IM's me tonight, and she kept asking me if I was gonna go, and if she should go, and if h/c was fun... and etc. (she's never gone, I've been to a few) I'd try to change the subject and she'd just jump back to h/c. I'm definately confused about it all. Is she just reinforcing the no she told me?

Uhhh... I don't know what to think... what exactly should I go about doing with her? Just keep talking to her and see if anything can happen after h/c? Or, maybe she'll change her mind? Or just ask someone else? I've got a few people I could ask.

Opinions are good, thanks to anyone.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Well....list why you shouldn't go with her? She's bluntly asking you to go...so...even though this goes against another DJ Principle, go with her. It'll help you to get a read on her, and since it's qualified as a date, you better damn well flirt.

*waits for a tool to try and tell me I'm soo wrong and a noob*

If she keeps bringing it up, just be like...

"You want to know what its like eh? You should've took my invitation. I would show you a hell of a time." Nudge her and then smile.

Then change the subject if she doesn't respond. Casually.
