A US woman charged with deliberately causing a fatal car crash is suing the family of a pregnant woman who died in the collision.

Justine Winter, who was 16 at the time of the crash, allegedly ploughed head-on into another vehicle on purpose in a suicide attempt.

Erin Thompson, 35, and her 13-year-old son Caden Odell, were travelling in the other car and were both killed in the crash on Montana's Highway 93.

Winter was later charged over the crash, with prosecutors claiming it was a suicide attempt that occurred less than an hour after she broke up with her boyfriend.

But now Winter is now suing the family of Thompson, who was pregnant at the time of the crash, saying that she was driving negligently.

I suspect this will be thrown out, but the fact it even makes headlines shows what a joke our "justice" system is. The reason the lady with the scales is blind is because its too horrifying to see how dumb we are as a society.

There's more than one way to skin a cat........But yes, I would definitely post on a message board prior to comitting murder, just in case I don't leave enough DNA evidence at the crime scene. You know, leaving a paper trail...
