"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I'm a student at a university. I had a month long break for the winter holiday. I"m going back to school this weekend (different city than my home town which i went home to for the holiday).

Anyway, I got this girl's number via facebook at the end of the semester. She wasn't a random girl, I have been wanting to ask her out for a while but have never had the opportunity. We have sat next to each other in a few classes but she was in a serious relationship at the time (engaged). It was bad timing because I knew I wouldn't call her for a few weeks but I wanted to get the number while the Iron was hot with facebook messages. We have messaged each other a few times and chatted on AIM a few times also over the past few weeks (BTW, she looked my screen name up and IM'd me first). I've been gettting great vibes from talking to her on the internet. I haven't ever called because I don't want to bore he with small talk because I really dont have anything else to talk to her about right now. I'm going to ask her out on a date (or atleast some kind of outing) as soon as I get back to school.

Should I call her out of the blue and chat her up and ask her out on a date? OR should I message her and lead up to the date and then call her?

Initially I got her number by suggesting that she and I go to a basketball game together. There is a basketball game next week. I'm thinking I might should go for a different date idea than a basketball game because I don't want to get friendzoned by taking her to an event where it is hard to use kino and such. But the basketball game is a safe bet because i know we will both have fun.

Please Advise.

Thanks.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Well, I just answered my own question so some extent. I signed onto AIM and chatted with her. She asked me about the basketball game. I ended up telling her I would call her about going to the game.

Please Advise if you think of anything.
