I met this gal 5 weeks ago and again 3 weeks ago. She gave me her number. I have yet to call her because I didn't have anything that would include her. This Saturday I do have something involving dancing which she likes to do. Can I text her or should I just call her? She may not remember me. It's getting late as today is Wednesday.

I recently asked a girl out via text. I don't think it's any big deal. I just sent her a line saying, "You free this weekend? We should get together." She text back yes and I called her when it was time to mention a place to meet. That's it. No biggie.

If she doesn't remember you by phone, what makes you think she'll remember you by text messaging? You'll waste an entire message just explaining who you are.
