Generally no.

Single moms and childless men like myself are poor fits for extended relationship dating.

Most single moms don't have enough free time to seriously date. Single dads are somewhat able to identify with this. There can be somewhat of a fit between those two groups.

It might be possible for a single mom and a childless man to date for casual sex. Sometimes setting that up and initially seducing the single mom can be difficult due to her busy lifestyle. If a man is able to put a single mom into rotation for occasional sex, then it might make sense for him.

How many times per week/month do you prefer to see someone you are dating in an extended relationship?

I stay really busy most all the time and I've noticed women that have things going on in their life aren't up in mine so much. I've never dated a girl that didn't have enough time for me. Most of the time I struggle to find time for her.

I think this is a good question and a question that a lot of unattached men need to consider when pursuing an extended relationship.

In an ideal extended relationship, I am seeing a girlfriend around 3 days a week. During the other 4 days of the week, I have time to myself for my own hobbies and interests.

I arrived at this 3 day a week number based on observing one of my good friends in the early 2010s. When I met him in 2011, he had an established girlfriend that he had been dating for one year. They were not living together. In the 2011-2013 time period, he only saw her around 3 days a week. He always had free time for playing tennis with me and other social stuff with all of his male friends. He never let his girlfriend dictate how he spent his free time. I wouldn't have ever said he was an alpha male. I would consider him a better than average beta male. I think he set a good example for a lot of men to follow during the first few years of his LTR prior to when he moved in his girlfriend and later married her.
