"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Don't listen to a bunch of anonymous bots on an internet forum. Be a man, do the right thing. Remember you make your bed and you'll have to sleep in it. Do you want to be responsible for knowing that this poor girl ruined her credit and lost her house you weren't a man of your word?

The other option here and now this is the real MacAvoy speaking is to hold this over her head. Move in with her and make her your b1tch, use your money as the power, you can control the strings, remember you can pull it away just as quickly as you give it. I'd be making her do all kinds of freaky sex acts.

This is the ideal opportunity to turn the table on her. But I don't think you got the balls to do it, but if you did, it would be the best thing for your growth.
I'm already basically doing this. I confronted her friday night (albiet, drunkenly) about everything, and told her I haven't been happy with our relationship, and how if things were as bad as they are now, I can't imagine how bad they'll be a year from now. How we fight too much, and how she attacks me the second I open my mouth about anything. How ****ing tired I am of her expecting me to do things on her terms. And admittedly, a lot of these problems are my fault, as I let things come to this.

She said something to the effect of, "If you decide to bail, I don't care.". She backtracked right away, but I used the hell out of that little slip against her. Then I disappeared for the night, just to add to the atmosphere.

We had a "talk" last night, and I think we've come to an understanding.

As for my future living arrangements, I'm still going ahead and moving in with her as planned. I'm paying half the mortgage, which was decided a long time ago, but I'm not attaching my name to anything just yet. I told her that if we last long enough together (I haven't decided on a set date or anything), I want my name added to whatever legal documentation there is, so the house becomes half mine. Or whatever.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Let's just wait until this guy comes back in 6 months posting a thread that reads, "My slutty ex kicked me out of my house! Help!".

I think this kid is one of those people who has to learn the obvious lessons the hard way. Unnecessary but at least he will have given himself some self-righteous ammo for "living and learning" mantra being preached around here almost carelessly sometimes.

Next!

Good post The Bat.

And after that is accomplished we'll all have two threads to link to someone else who wants to try ruining their lives like this.

YOU FOOL. This will end. You will never make it more than two or three years with her. Haters might say this is a forum of anonymous guys but you are better to take our knowledge rather than your own. You have selected an option that give you no advantages. What do you get out of all of this man??? This is like you deciding to punch Ayatollah Khomeini in the face in front of 300 Iranian wrestlers at the height of the Iranian Revolution. Think of the impending murder about to happen. She will murder your pocketbook, your ego, and maybe even you. You won't listen to me, I know. Just make an exit plan. Have it ready and stick to it when you wise up.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You didn't do a thing from my post. FYI in case you didn't notice, the first paragraph was 100% sarcasm. If anybody knows me, it would be obvious.
