Just saw the trailer. Really enjoyed the book. Not sure how they're going to put all that in two hours.

Anybody who read the books have any thoughts on the movie?

Trailer:

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I read the book and loved it. But the book to me had a more documentary like feel and was epic on a grand scale. You go from this crazy general in India, to Israel, to the spread of the virus through illegal organs from China, to freezing zombies in Canada, the huge battle Americans lost, South African genocidal schizoprenics and so many things. I would have preferred World War Z to be more like a TV show where each episode would focus on one or a part of one story from WWZ.

The trailer makes the movie seem more action oriented, and the zombie animation looks bad for some reason.

Didnt read the book but the movies looks interesting, really hope that the "family thing" wont drag too much drama in it, Im fine with talking parts as long as their are not drama or b1tching.

Regarding the mass of zombies they remind me the spanish men in pamplona running away from the running bulls.
