I thought this was a major league basball game, but it looks like the Rockies brought in some little league team. What is this!? I had to stop watching, it was too painful. Sure hope the Rockies get their game on, this sucks... :nervous:

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The Rockies thought this was the World Series of tee-ball...

I hope we pull through though.

dude the sox just kicked some booty, red sox hitters are red hot, beckett only has a 1.00 era for the playoffs and game 1, and the red sox just can't be stopped. they are roll-in! at least rockies made it to the world series, even if its only for four games.

You guys aren't giving the Rockies enough credit. They had the 3rd best team ERA in the majors in the second half. I'll admit that Beckett shut them down last night, but Beckett is a beast in the post-season. When the Rockies hit the ball last night they hit it hard. I guess we'll have to see what happens tonight.

Rockies in 6.

Re:

If the rockies don't show anything more tonight, they are done.

It reminds me of '04, when the Cards were hyped up to be nasty...sure, when compared to the NL. They hit the SOX, who were hot at the time and had better pitching than the NL, and fell on their faces.

Some pointers to tonight's game...

1) Jiminez is a rookie. It will be tough, even if he can throw gas.
2) He isn't good against lefties. Drew, Ortiz, and Ellsbury.
3) The sox NON power players are hot.
4) COL had 8 days off. The All Star break can kill player's streaks, I think the same to be true here.
5) BOS has more players through and through that can and will hit.
6) Schilling is money in post-season and can shut down COL. I like Holliday and Helton, and Tulowitzki is a bright star, but I don't think they can do it, and it won't be tight games.
7) That was a demoralizing loss. Let's see how COL bounces back.
8) If all Jimenez does is throw gas, he'll get blasted, well, by everyone except Lugo and Drew.

I think the SOX do it in 4 games, IF they take tonight. If they don't, it's 5.
