I want to start working out but from home. What exercises can I do at home to build some muscle and get in shape. I have an exercise ball, exercise bands, and 2 20 pound dumbbells.

Those aren't much to start with. Add in some body weight exercises i.e. push ups, lunges, and dips if you can. These exercises are not very likely to bulk you up but they do build strength. You'd be surprised but a lot of body builders can't lift their own body weight.
