"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Working together with a girl

I am working on a project together with this really cute girl now, at school. I've been into her for some months, but she has a boyfriend, so I can't really ask her out or anything. However, I feel she is into me, because she's always flirting with me, and sometimes she fights for my attention and stuff, but that's not the important thing here. As I said, we're working on a project together, but when I'm with her, I kinda don't know what to do. I try to be natural, and I manage to be a little mysterious, and nothing wrong is really happening, but I need something to escalate the little flirting.

I know about kino, but I'm not good at making it natural, so that's a little hard. The step before kino is probably the thing I need.

As I said, she has a boyfriend, but I suspect I have a chance on her, because I think he is a little too AFC with her (he even gave her a bracelet BEFORE they got together), and that she has the power.

Now, if it doesn't work, I won't really care, but if it does, I'd be happy, and that's why I'm giving it a shot.

We're gonna work together tomorrow, and I need some tips. How do I escalate the little flirting? C+F? Misinterpretation (I'm actually doing this)? Or what?

Thank you, guys!;)

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Try to spend time inside her personal space at first to build up comfort then apply very light kino.

Do it all very slowly so it seems natural. I.e you're working three feet apart, over time you move to two feet, one feet, brush the back of your hand lightly over her arm as you lean in to ask a question or make a comment, etc.

Someone once dubbed this the 'Slack Attack'. You are always escalating the physical proximity and contact, but it's very patient. She has time to get comfortable and used to each step before you move on. If she is attracted to you, this will work very well. If she isn't you will notice subtle signs of discomfort once you first get into her personal space, then you simply go back to working like normal.

Hehe, you definitely have a point there:)
But when she flirts with me, why can't I flirt back? I'm not pushing, and I am not going to push any limits here. Safe play from me. I'm not going to hit on her either. No big deal; just trying to play the game.
And by the way, if my girl was flirting with other guys, that would be her right. Again: no big deal!

Just get her number anyways! When she says well I have a boyfriend just say "I'm not getting his number am I?" in a humorous way and 99% of the time the girl will give you their number if they are interested in you.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

So, I could say that yesterday worked fine. What I really felt worked good, was the eye contact and mystery creation, so to speak. I was never afraid to look her in the eyes, and as for the mystery creation, she even said "don't be so mysterious!".

Now, to be honest, I don't think I'll get this girl, but when I'm with her, I'm having a good time. I just have to not fall for her, and I'll be okay.

Girls are easily stolen from their bf's.
But you could go for a kiss later. I mean, you have to get comfortable with every stage.
I take that back, only most girls are easily taken from their bf's.
But if you can make her feel like she should be with you instead of him, she'll drop him in a second.

I just had that realization. Thanks.

But this means you have to be totally natural around her, and really be good.

There is nothing wrong with trying to build her attraction for you.

But I wouldn't recommend trying to steal a girl that is a pretty shallow thing to do. But sounds like you could, if you wanted to. As long as she hasn't been with the boy for a long time. I would just build up the attraction untill you she can't take it anymore. (Make sure you introduce kino and see how she responds.) Then pounce and go for a kiss. Make it seem like you fell for each other on acceident, and you will always been there for her.

ok first of all... its horrible for you to flirt with someones girlfriend.
1. If you want that girl, make sure you can beat up her boyfriend
2. Most likely, the girl is just flirting around and doesnt really like you
3. Why are you stealing somone elses girlfriend!?

Ok now to the real part.. if you REALLY want to get her.. then i suggest you just keep talking to her and having a good time with her until she breaks up with him. Its really easy after she breaks up cuz shell be needing someone else to be with. And since youve been having good times with her and talking to her then shell look for you. But just a reminder, dont become her long term friend. Keep yourself a mystery (dont tell her a lot about yourself) and always be a potential boyfriend to that girl.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
