"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

If it were me, I would try to get out from under of those properties as soon as possible and count yourself among the fortunate (possibly few) who have realized that typical real estate is not meant for investing long term.

Of course, my opinion is not of the norm and is usually met with much resistance from the mainstream belief that real estate will make you rich. Yes, in the past, but not now...
Real estate has been and will continue to be one of the best wealth building vehicles. It's in a slump which we all knew was coming, of course. But for the long haul it has and always will perform consistently well.

That said, the real estate is part of the problem, but it isn't the solution.

I have properties on the market as we speak. i am lightening my load, but the biggest issue is the fact that I have to incubate a new business through a bad economy. That means that I'm doing 50% of the sales i should be doing, which means that I have to cut one of the only costs that I can....LABOR. So I have to do all the work just to get through this sh!tty downturn.

Trust me, if I could snap my fingers and change my life 180 degrees right now i would be tempted. The thing is though, I know that everything is finite and every time I go through a rough period things go back to being better than they were before.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

What is your priority in life?
Unfortunately at this point that's inconsequential. When you work a job, you can quit and go find another one. I'm self employed so if I dig myself into a trench the only rescue team is ME, myself, and "I".

It's days like these I wish I had a "normal" life....

the normal life presents you with no real hope of ' making it big', which is why you are currently in your situation. The alternative to making it big is to live a life of complacency and retire at 70. No one wants to do that, but most do not actually go any further than the talking stage. They end up working and abandoning the big dream.

what do you want to do? pursue the dream or live securely in the "normal" world.
