"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

This is just general advice, but if you actually do what the elder people on this board, DJ bible tell you to do, you will be a hell of a lot more efficent with women.

I am getting myself out of a situtation, that I knew damn well that I shouldn't have been in the first place.. not oneitis or anything like that, just a certain type of girl that I shouldnt' be dating.. but she was "different"... they aren't. Trust me. Trust Us. I just wasted a damn month of my time when I could have cut off all my emotions and not followed up with her advances in the first place.

Anyway, pay attention, and learn from past mistakes

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

There's nothing better than experience, but saying that, you also need to learn from your own experiences and mistakes to really understand and follow what those who have gone before have said.

One day I went and checked some of the first posts from like 2001. Those were good quality posts. I believe if you pay attention to the past (in about anything) you can learn a lot.

somethings you need to learn from yes, however some are so damn set in stone you should know better.

In my case I got invloved with a girl wtih a 10 month old baby.

I gave her the benefit of the doubt because her baby's dad is deceased, no fault of her own, but circumstances are circumstances... I basically felt bad and like I owed her a chance when I really didn't.

Rollo said it best... single mommies aren't single mommies because of their superior decision making skills.. and that's with my mom being somewhat of a single mom, even though she was married when she had me.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Backbreaker,

Good to hear you've fully joined the no single moms side of the coin. One hard lesson I've learned over the last year, and you'll appreciate this given your background, is that you really are who you hang around. Unfortunately, most of us who go from chump to champ in life have to make the decision at some point that we're simply not going to closely associate with people who aren't winners, even if that means cutting long-held ties or declining to make relations with people who are genuinely good people at heart. That will make many view us as *******s, but it's for the better. I know from reading some of your posts in the past, that this has been a recurring theme for you.

For me, over the last year, I've experienced the sting of this lesson in a few different ways. I've nexted a woman who I really liked, who was hot, feminine, and had a great personality because she tends to make irresponsible decisions, and it was bringing me down. I pretty much cut off two of my closest friends growing up because they are losers. That was tough. They hate me for it, telling people (their loser circle) "he thinks he's better than everyone, blah blah." More recently, I had to tell a couple guys who are quite a bit older than me that I won't do business with them because they have very poorly thought out business plans. I'm sure you can imagine how they took it personally.

Not trying to hijack your thread or anything with my experiences, I'm just suggesting to you not to feel bad in the least about staying the hell away from people who aren't winners in the game of life, even if their problems are largely circumstantial.

I tend to agree, I just hope that all the under 21 people in the crowd would just stop posting and read posts made by those who are 25 and up or at least the DJ bible quality posts before saying something idiotic. No offense to those under 21, you just don't get it - You go to college at 19 and learn about psychology and you think you go the world in your pocket yet you do not: vote, work full time, pay taxes, witnessed an actual death, ever been in a serious long term relationship with a girl over 18 for at least a year, etc. Shut your face and learn to listen.

I try to have patience and listen to those under 21 making posts, but it always seems to me that it's a rehash from earlier posts (we're not talking about a month earlier, but a couple days earlier.) Rarely do I see anything out of the ordinary, maybe 1 out of 10-15 posts have something actually worth discussing. The rest just seems to be an extension of high school tactics.

man hijack all you want, good to hear from you.

with that said, yeah, decisions are not always easy. To get the most out of life you have to surround yourself with people who add to it. There is no way dealing with a 20 year old with a 10 month baby was adding to my life.

Come to think of it, the only reason I really talked to her was becuase everyone else wanted to, she was that good looking.. but after a month I basically said you can have her.

My friends are somewhat starting to come around. Somewhat.

My old oneitis is a worthless peice of hot ass. It's a shame a bum can be that freakin hot.
