Today when I went to the cinema with a few friends, there was this really cute girl at the counter. She made a real impression on me, and after the film, when I left, I suddenly wanted to go back and ask her out. I went back and forth, back and forth, really scared, nervous, anxious, everything this site tries to defeat, but you know what? I went to that counter, and I asked her out anyway. First time I've ever done it. She said she had a boyfriend, so it didn't succeed, but nothing bad happened! The earth did not, in fact, open and swallow me up! It was all good! And her smile, and the way she said no, made me believe honestly that she really did have a boyfriend, and that she was flattered and even pleased by the fact I'd asked her out.
So yeah! I felt the fear and did it anyway! Woo!
