"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

And then get upset when you don't? Say if you're starting a relationship and I suppose the amount of contact pre-relationship was higher in regards to texting and calling to build rapport but once you start seeing each other more you communicate less by phone. I've had this happen with a few girls - usually they're less slvtty girls who perhaps perceive a drop in phone communication as lack of interest and commitment.

How does one negate this? I have told girls in the past that Im very busy and would like to get my sh1t done so when I am physically with them I cam focus on them and not be plagued by my job, health, family etc.

Also, as I am very busy would you guys say that for some of us men relationships are too bigof a time committment if she isnt a thump and dump type? I know that some women adjust to hectic lifestyles better than others but what Ive found with girls who are relationship types is that they need 3 nights of talking on the phone before bed, one work break lunch and one night together.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You just answered your own question. The secret is to NOT start the relationship with communicating on the phone so much.

I'm always telling guys on here that texting KILLS relationships. I avoid having to do things like text or make calls by telling girls from the very first date that I'm not much of a phone person. Which is true - I hate making phone calls, and unless I'm setting up a meet-and-greet spending all day texting with a girl is NOT going to happen.

As a result, they usually end up being the ones to contact me. Because of this, I'm able to regulate communication to the pace that I'D like for it to happen from day one; that way, they never see a difference in my communication frequency because I keep it consistently low.

Realistically, you could see a woman one night a week and sustain a relationship with her. And actually, when you're first going out with a woman, the time you spend in her presence should be limited to once or twice a week to help her build up interest in you. (It's the whole "having her think about you when you're not around" concept.)

When a woman's interested in you, she may WANT to talk to you every day, but she doesn't NEED to. In fact, until she's earned the title of "girlfriend," the only time you should be contacting her is to set up dates - during the time between dates you should be going No Contact so she wonders who else may be occupying your time.

What she actually NEEDS is time between dates to make herself jealous of whatever else you're doing, thus making her interest in you increase. I say this to say, if you're a busy guy it's actually a GOOD thing, as you won't be displaying the neediness most un-busy guys give off that end up chasing a girl away, and are more likely to have her jumping at the bit to see you again.

Hope this helps!
