No Frank, intimidation can often be a disadvantage. The reason for this as discussed in part on other threads is that girl has to feel worthy of you. This is a key thing about women that separates them from men. They would rather date someone on 'their level' as opposed to someone more out of their league.
They think for some reason the guy would leave eventually and break their heart. Again this goes back to worthiness. "He would eventually see me for who i really am and leave" type of thing etc. If the girl has low self-esteem or insecurities, she doesn't feel worthy of someone she finds outstanding.
She always have to feel and be attractive around him and for him, otherwise she's afraid she'll lose him. It ups the ante so to speak, something a more confident and secure woman could handle, because they know their self-worth is good.
It's why girls at the bar will often look at some confident, great-looking successful dude, but pass him by for some flaming idiot. They are intimidated and would rather go with what they're comfortable with in that impulsive scenerio where there is little time for deciding who you are going home with that night.
