Little bit of background. I grow my own vegetables for fun, nothing serious just a bit of a hobby.
Last summer my niece and nephew where over mine 4 and 5 years old. They were super into picking vegetables from my garden and it got them into eating "yucky vegetables" they would never normally eat.
This year my sister was on about she needs to start her own little veg garden for the kids.
How it's super good for them e.t.c. I'm like yeah that's awesome, I can teach you loads, and I'll help with everything.
I was 100% into helping setting to the kids veg garden this year.
She's constantly texting me about it for weeks, asking questions, making a garden plan e.t.c.
March comes just plodding along doing my thing, planting seeds, pottering getting everything ready.
Mid April I start giving her extra plants I've grown from seed for the kids garden.
Boom... She completely ghost me. Cuts all communication, even non gardening related stuff.
I didn't see my niece and nephew for a few weeks as a result (I normally see them a few times a week). I'm racking my brain , wtf have I done? Have I done something to upset my sister?
One day I mention it to my mum. She says she probably feels guilty because she let the plants you gave her die.
I just go round a few days later. Ask her wtf is going on?
Yep.... Low and behold!!!!
She told me she felt guilty she didn't bother to water the plants I gave her and they died.
She felt really bad about it.
Obviously I'm not asking for advice. It's my sister.
Women can be such retards.
Guilt , accountability, feeling bad. Simply cannot handle it.
