I told you what they want, in the last paragraph of my reply above. That's my honest answer... THEY want HONESTY and respect (doesn't mean you can't joke with them. You should make fun of them ONLY WHEN you honestly feel like they did something funny, and tell them you dont like something if you don't.) Talk to them like you talk to your friends, family members, even waiters. Don't try to impress women. In fact try NOT to impress them if that makes you feel better.
Honesty and fearlessly being yourself is all social skills are. You have to let your real self show, even if you don't know other people will like it. You don't want a girl to like you just because you bought her stuff.. You want her to laugh at your jokes and cuddle up next to you while watching a movie and look into your eyes while you talk about philosophy.
Otherwise why not just visit hookers? It will cost less!
BTW most guys who visit the same hooker repeatedly end up paying her to talk to them and listen to them, so that they don't feel alone. When that begins, the guys no longer enjoy paying for the sex, because they actually see the girl as a PERSON rather than an object, and when you are empathizing with someone, you don't want them to have sex with you unless they WANT to have sex with you.
