Both man and woman were polygamous, the had several mates but there was no random sex carousel thing going on.
Marriage and monogamy was invented as a result of shifting to agriculture.

because hypergamy is not about having many multiple partners. its about having the most SUITABLE partner at a given time.

thats the sexual evoltuion of women. they can only carry one baby at a time by one man. whereas men can impregnate multiple women. so it only makes sense her offspring should be sired by the most FIT male she can mate with.

again, this goes back to alpha and all the things that are preached here about women willing to share a high value man and polygamy being a mans natural strategy. more than one woman can benefit from mating with one very high value (dominant) male.

.i was just clearing up that women arent naturally predisposed to have sex the way men are. some people think they are polygamous like men. theyre not. nor are they monogmous. they dont have seeds to spread around the way wedo. hence our urges and strength of libidos are completely different. men are always ready to go. for women its cyclical.

which is why we subconsciously are all aware that a womans value decreases with the more lovers she has/had. contraception and cultural shifts make it possible, but it isnt natural.

but it doenst apply when all these condoms (and other~ways) are around. women can be always ready too

Absolutely. Women can be up for sex any time but there are a few days out of the month when women are really really really really up for sex Hahahaha.

It's biologically designed that way to increase the chance of conceiving. Like when animals are in heat. We are animals, after all lol. There are even studies around this which claim that men can even sense when a woman is ovulating by her pheromones.
