The wife is giving me some interesting material to work with lately.

Another tale from the married life however there is some value in it for all men here on SS regardless if you're in a LTR or just 'browsing' the market. This brief story demonstrates how womens' group think can be detrimental as a whole, so you guys who are single and have to contend with some chicks friends who have their b!tch shields at defcon 1, you can probably relate to this.

A couple weeks ago my wife made plans with one of our friends to attend their child's birthday party. The wife and the other lady coordinate pretty much all of this, which is fine by me because the less I have to plan or deal with any of it the better. Just tell me when and where I have to show up and that works. And that's what happened. Everything is going great, and the day is a typical weekend day like any other, generally free from stress, drama and other BS which is how I like it.

I start getting dressed and getting a couple of things ready. About 15 minutes before we have to leave, I start taking things to the car. I get to the car and lo and behold one of our cheap folding tables is sticking out of the trunk. I did not put this there. I go back into the house.

Me: Why is the table in the car trunk?

Her: Oh yeah...(Friend) said she might need it at the party because she's not sure if she will have enough space to put everything. Do you have any twine or rope I can use for it?

Me: Hang on a second...when did she ask you to bring a table?

Her: She texted me earlier this morning asking if we have one we could bring and I told her yes.

Me: You did see that the table is sticking about 4 feet outside of the truck? It won't completely fit in the trunk. (Keep in mind I don't own a truck and I have no real use for one where I live so this would be the only vehicle it could go into).

Her: I know that's why I need some rope or something to tie it down.

Me: Tie it down to what? There's nothing in the trunk that will serve as a secure anchor nevermind the fact you'd have to loop rope completely around a table about a dozen times so it doesn't slip out and even then there's no guarantee.

Her: Do you have any rope I can use or not?

Me: You're not taking the table to this party.

Her: What? WHY!?!?!

Me: I'm not going to risk causing some kind of traffic accident which could hurt someone because this table slips out the back of the trunk. And all for what? Because (friend) didn't take the time to adequately prepare for the party? That's on her. That is not our responsibility to deal with. She's putting on this party, she should make the arrangements to have everything there that she needs.

She tried to persuade me a little more after that, but I refused to take it and told her to get the table out of the trunk, which she did. The whole moral of this story is that group think with women can be outright terrible and in this scenario could have been dangerous. Ordinarily she can think things through with some level of reason but once her friend said she needed something, any level of reason went completely out the window all in the name of the friend needing help. She didn't even take the time to think before responding to her of how we'd possibly transport this table there. She immediately knee-jerk reacted and said "yes" and damn any possible safety concerns.

Women + group think, generally = not much of any value getting accomplished.

I don't really think it was group think per say but you did the right thing either way by not allowing her to do something stupid.

not sure how much relevance that story has to the moral but none the less its an interesting topic

for 2 days of the week i work with 5 women aged between 30 & 45 ( FML)

now these women enjoy playing "happy families" in the office all day everyday

they want to know every single detail about each others lives , they are the corner stones of "office politics" , they want the husbands to get along , they want the kids to get along etc etc

now as a 22 year old young man i don't fit into this picture in any way shape or form , i keep myself to myself and i don't give a flying fvck about playing happy families with them

i go to work to do a job not to sit around gossiping talking about absolute sh*t all day long

one of them ( the loudest one) i know can't fvcking stand me , she can't openly admit it because it would ruin the "happy vibe" around the office so she holds her tounge she has the occasional nibble at me but I'm always quick to remind her who she's talking too

anyway recently my company recruits a new graduate trainee to work in the office for six months

age 25 , HB 5 overweight with one of these "I'm bigger than the world and all its problems attitudes"

HB 5 has a boyfriend whom she is on the rocks with

(i can tell within about 5 mins nethier of them want to be with each other but its a relationship built to keep everyone else happy)

so anyway the rest of the middle age women in the office take up the roles of mother & sister figures to HB 5 and happy families can continue

one day I'm sitting there doing some work and i catch the tail end of the conversation which goes as follows

" WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS STOP TAKING YOUR PILL AND GET PREGNANT THAT WILL SORT HIM OUT HAHAHAHA"

HB 5 is soaking all this up and comes around to the idea

so these women in the office have now convinced a woman to have a kid with a man she dosent love just to make the rest of his life a living hell

now thats fvcking worrying !!

yea too right it is , do they see it that way ?

Hell no "its cute"

i tell you what when a group of twisted women get together they're more dangerous than nuclear warfare

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I know this scenario too well. You're right, when you put them together intelligence doesn't seem to matter. The opinion of her friend is worth more than any logic or rational thought. The "cuteness" outweighs everything else, so don't even bother trying to explain why it's a bad idea.

For example, one particularly painful experience was when my GF (now ex) invited her friends to stay with us for the weekend. I made the mistake of tagging along to the bar (WHY?!) because I thought there would be a good band playing, but we never even made it into the venue. The ten minute walk took an hour because of all the amazing photo opportunities in the middle of the street - lots of selfies, uploading and tagging needed to be done.
One girl was carrying a metal water bottle that I knew would be a problem.
"You probably should put that in your bag so they don't take it from you at the door"
LOL NO it's fine LOL it's just water, nobody cares!!!
Of course, when we get to the door we were greeted by the boucer:
You can't bring that into the bar"
WHY NOT it's just water stop hating! fine whatever i'll put it in my bag!
"Mam you can't bring that inside at all. I just saw you put it in your bag and we don't allow guests to bring their own containers inside, for obvious reasons"
I told you it's just water now let us in and stop being such an *******! it took us three hours to walk here! thats such a stupid rule!
"If you're going to cause problems then you can't come in. That simple. Please leave."
The entirety of the walk back was spent drowning in the deafening cries:
wow people here are so rude, i'm never coming back here again. i can't believe this. that guy should be fired. why does this stuff happen to me?

I really want to know if, deep down inside, she knows she was wrong, and just couldn't admit it. Was she at any point thinking "I should have listened to the wise, rational Starfvcks??"
Oh yea, and I got blamed for ruining their night. That was just one hour of a three day visit. By the time they left I think I developed PTSD.

It is amazing most of these girls don't get hit by cars. Of course, if they did get hit it would be the drivers fault for not paying attention...

Not following the corralation between "women group think" (lol) and this particular scenario. But one moral is clear from the Op.

In relationships, it is that mans job to lead. And in this case prevent the woman from doing something utterly retarded.

However, I am indeed enjoying you guys tales of feminine stupidity.

This thread should be retitled: Dumb **** this chick I l know tried to do

XD
