now its a more even playing field and boy do they not like it!

"how can you base the rise on a whole sex" is the call...well they have been doing it for decades and you benefitted from it, now it applies to both, there are tears!

Women on average have higher accident rates per miles driven. Men tend to have more costly accidents and more injuries due to higher speeds.

As for this gender equialization in premium pricing, I think it's fantastic. I can't wait for them to bring this to the US. And before anyone *****es, consider this:

Medical insurance carriers aren't allowed to use gender to determine prices anymore, so why should automobile insurance carriers be allowed to continue? Fair is fair, right ladies?
