Everyone operates by their seemly “best” strategy. For her, the author, that’s both her best and her worst strategy.

Best because she will have a guy who worships her and that feels temporarily gratifying.

Worst because inevitably she will not appreciate him as she did not have to work for such grand treatment, which was given to her for free. And what comes for free without effort is rarely appreciated.

Also would like to correct the notion of “women are predators.” To adopt such a philosophy would mean that women are pedestal-ed to such a degree that they have the authoritative power as a predator over you. That is empowering their relevance.
