My boyfriend "Ben" and I had been dating seriously for a few years. We had talked about marriage and children but hadn't decided on when that would be. Ben assumed the pregnancy was a birth control failure. I told other people that it was an "unplanned but welcome surprise.” I never told another person this, but my pregnancy wasn't an accident at all. I stopped taking birth control pills because I wanted to have a child.

And since this chick is of so high character, of course her friends are also ...

Recently, a friend became pregnant after a one-night stand. Everyone assumes that was an accident, but she confided in me that she had been seeking out sex with the purpose of getting pregnant. I don't know if I read it here, or somewhere else, but there was an article explaining how professional athletes are taught all kinds of advanced "accidental pregnancy" defense techniques.

Some girl gets "accidentally" pregnant by these millionaires, and she and baby are set for life.

I also remember reading, in the first gulf war when lots of women were serving on ships for the first time, that suddenly, once the shooting started, plenty of these "equal opportunity" women were now pregnant and on permanent shore leave.
