My best friend and a natural DJ mentor is dying of cancer 6 to 12 months. Who knows. He is married to a woman 21 years younger than him who absolutely adores him and is better than any nurse, told me after I visited and told him how selfish my sister is and that is why my mother gave me signing powers to her bank account and not my sister.

She is lonely as well. I could not read her thoughts because she was living for the moment and enjoying the fact that I was hungry and eating a hearty breakfast that she paid for. If they pay for you, that is their investment in your future with them.

As a farmer - you know that your flock of chickens can be wiped out by some predator or sickness in a week. That is what happened to my mate when he was away for a week and his staff didn't look after his stock. His chickens died - maybe they could sense that he was sick as well?

Not like us men - I haven't seen my mate for 37 years and it was as if we saw each other last week. I will gladly give my room mate a couple of smokes and not expect payment and will never fvck his wife / girlfriend while he is still alive.

Men have honour - women don't they are like the grasshoppers and don't give a fvck about you. Maybe some do? But they are very rare and if you find one it is a rare gem.

Ballie you are a strange dude---I couldn't make sense of much in that post. But I will agree with your thesis.

Women ARE selfish, as a lot. I think most men will run across a few in his lifetime who genuinely do care about him, but for the most part women only care about a man inasmuch as it benefits themselves.

There is a caveat to their self-centeredness---their children. They will die for their children, but when it comes to men they essentially see us as a means to an end--which is their comfort and security.

This all sounds super cynical, but I havent yet compiled enough observational evidence to prove otherwise. There are a special few out there who will be your "ride or die" girl, but they are the exceptions, and exceptions don't make a rule.

I'm not bothered by repetitive questions. More and more new guys are going to show up with similar issues. It's to be expected. Nothing wrong with it.

Expect more of...

1. I'm decent looking but women ignore me.

I know I sound a bit weird - but I am an electronics design engineer and our brains a wired differently to normal people as we are creative.

I am telepathic - so's my sister and mother, but other people have the gift - animals do as well or else how would they be able to hunt in a pack?

I am very good with women though and isn't that what DJs aspire to become? But I haven't met one yet that I spent a lot of time with, maybe being a bachelor is the answer for me and @ 56 that's not too difficult after all.

I agree with you about their children though. My ex wife was an excellent mother and would of died for her children. But after our divorce she started to drink too much and that caused major problems especially with my daughter. That's why I say they are lonely and need men around them.

I am also cynical after being hurt and I haven't met a woman yet who is suitable. That doesn't mean I have become a recluse at all! Maybe Vanessa is different? Who knows at least we have not yet become intimate and then things will change.
