Without Food nor Water

How long can a human, normal, last without food nor water?

I believe its 3 days for water and 7 days for food.

There was this story on Maury Povich though, the kid drove off into a little valley and was stuck in his car for 7 days w/o anything. However, he ended up almost dying and is really f***** up now.

You can last a few days without water, and a pretty long while without food. (Hunger strikes anyone?) Just how long depends on how fat you are, partly. Fatter people will survive longer because their fat will get "eaten", while thin people will have less to burn and will die quicker.

I know this is meant as a flame because you don't like me, but this is my punishment from my parents currently, I just want to know.

I thought it was 1 week without water and 1 month without food. Fortunatly I found out something else. Thanks everybody.

Not really, I complain too much, so they said "fine, no food."
I added water because I don't drink a lot of water myself.

In actuality, my parent is just pissed that I complain too much about the spicey food .

There is a Christian period of 40 days where people go without food (if they choose). Intercession.

40 days at least for food.

i dont know. i think its around 3 days.
But from what I have been told, you muscle will get 'eaten' first.
dont know if that is true though.

You can last months without food, as long as you're getting nutrients from SOMEWHERE. Fruit juice and multivitamins are popular with fasters. However, after about 40-60 days you're going to start losing muscle at an accelerating rate.

ive always heard it was 3 days without water 3 weeks without food. rule of threes. but that probably means that after 3 weeks youll just be so messed up you wont want to live.
