Wisdom Teeth

So at my recent dental appointment, my dentist refers me to a specialist regarding wisdom teeth, and when I arrive to this appointment, after looking at my X-RAY, he says I basically need them out.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has NOT had them out, and can make a comment on their current situation.

I am a very large skeptic, as I believe everything the body makes has a purpose(hate circumcision, etc.), blah blah, so I really do not see the point of this operation....

Any help?

I've had one removed, two more need to be removed. It'll prevent things from getting worse in the future.

Dude,..duuuude,..go have them pulled, really. An abcess can kill you man. I had all 4 pulled in the same go and there's a reason for this. If you only have 2 pulled you'll never go back to have the others pulled. It fvcken sucks, but you have to do it. The brightside is that you get a load of vicodin and no one gives you sh!t for a prescription refill,..heh:woo:

I got hydrocodone when i got mine out and didn't take any of it. Didn't hurt a bit. Maybe i got lucky
