Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone here knows if Microsoft Office 97 will run on the new Windows Vista?

Thanks,

Probably, but why not just use Open Office if you don't want to (ehem) buy Office 2007?

actually i wouldn't be to sure it would. I had a friend trying to install office 2000 on Vista and it wouldn't work. Then again his version of vista is extremely bugged and keeps saying its not a licensed copy.

I have Office 2007, and I can send you all the files and serial if you want (for free of course). Just PM me.

By the way, Vista sucks balls.

Unless there is something you REALLY need from Office 2007, just stick with OpenOffice.

Office 2007 comes with a new UI and you can't switch back to what you're familiar with from Office 97 thru 2003.

As for Vista... again, if there is something it does you REALLY need, then go and get it. Otherwise stick with XP or Ubuntu... lol...
