Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

Probably the wrong place to being asking this :). My WMP now makes a loud "popping" noise about every 3 seconds while the program is running. I googled it without much luck. It is extremely annoying. Has this happened to anyone else? I am currently using WMP version 11

Reinstall or update your sound driver.

or

Make sure its not a physical problem with your speaker amplifier. Plug in some other speakers or headphones that you know for sure work.

or

It could be a codec. What are you playing in WMP? mp3, video files....

If your computer is old, downgrade to a previous version of WMP(like 9-10), should be easier on resources and help with that suttering.

Try playing the same file in winamp, if it plays fine, its the WMP's problem.
It can be a number of things, including some other program using up too much CPU or ram, thus hindering the performance.
