Ninja is responding to the recent invading trolls, who maintained that looks were everything. They specifically posted pictures of celebrities in an attempt to prove that even they could not rise above their looks level.

Only thing is, the trolls posted pictures of celebrities' wives and girlfriends (LTRs). Ninja is talking about number of lays, there's a pretty big difference there. IMO, it's a lot easier to get a one night stand from a hot girl than it is to keep her in an exclusive relationship.

A lot of it actually depends on lifestyle. Brad Pitt isn't a party boy celebrity; he enters relationships and gets married. Same with Justin Timberlake and others.

Also, just because someone is exceptionally good looking - doesn't mean they exploit that to bang sluts - even if the opportunity is available. People used to call me gay because women were showing strong sexual signals, but at the time I was more relationship / love minded (with the same sluts who just wanted sex... loooooool). If your focus is on getting laid, and you are at least reasonably attractive - it's not hard to get a high number. Especially when you have a rich celebrity lifestyle. These guys got laid just by approaching in a small town. Now imagine being a in big city, with huge parties, an active night-life, money to spend, and all these opportunities everywhere. AND being famous, having groupies, traveling, living the high class life, etc. Easy.

Shallow, materialistic, status-obsessed sluts that just want to bang and live the "life" are everywhere, and there a lot of guys willing to take advantage of that. Some guys are all about getting laid - just as the girls fit the same lifestyle.

It's not black and white. Yes - this means looks AND game both matter. How much they matter depend on the woman in question. Money, status, both additionally fall into the categories here. How interesting and intelligent you are can also factor in, depending on the woman. There's much more to attracting a woman than simply looking good - many betas can look good from working out and never get laid because they lack the confidence, the knowledge, the ability to follow up from the initial attention. Many guys with game could likely benefit from spending a few months working out and polishing their look. Those that do both are going to benefit the most.

To specifically address looks, it provides benefits in terms of initial attention and attraction. It is easier to grab a girl's attention when you look good. How long you keep it, however, is going to be determined by other factors. If a good looking guy talks to a girl, can't meet her eyes, and quietly asks "Well, umm.. I.. umm.. just wanted.. umm.. to see if you wanted.. umm.. to get coffee with me." - there's no way he's gonna get the lay, likely not even a date.

However, if a guy looks awful, and can spit good game, he may be able to attract a girl. May. It's a hard road, though, and instead of trying to learn more game, that same guy should focus on balancing his lifestyle.

There's rich betas, high status betas, and there's good-looking betas. Having a balanced life is supreme over any single quality, even if you excel in that one single area.

Some people forget that you still need the confidence to speak to and ask out women.
