"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I thought I would try telling a girl I was sorry for something I said to her through email to see how she would react. I'm not going to say what it was that I said to her, but I will say that after some thought I thought it was the right thing to do.

The reason I've done this is to prove to myself that

a) If you are wrong, it is right to say sorry for something regardless of what the other person will think or say.

b) It is highly unlikely that a woman will forgive you.

In order to prove this I thought I would say exactly what is on my mind in a kind and honest way. I will also not use any moves or games on her. If she comes back to me then fine I'll be impressed with her. If she doesn't then I'll consider this a case study and forget about it.

here is the conversation. I wonder how she will respond.

ME (two weeks after the situation)
Hey,
I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for X. That was
wrong of me. I feel bad about the way I've acted. I'm
sorry.
Anyway, I hope you have a great christmas.

chick (a few days later)
Hi

Didn't recognize your email. I too hope you have a good Christmas. Thanks
for the email.

me (the next day)

I am happy that you replied.
As long as you're not really mad at me, I would like to talk to you again
sometime.

Maybe I can make it up to you. :)

Anyway I've said exactly what I wanted to say. If it works and I end up taking her out again I will be shocked.

If it doesn't then I will just go back to my old generalizations about women and piss on them with the lot of you.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

How did you act?

C&F and she called you out on it, and you bombed? - Never say you're sorry for being yourself.

Drunk and rowdy, disrespected her? Being the REAL ******* isn't C&F. If it was something like this, you pull her aside, get your **** together "Hey listen ____ I'm sorry for the way I acted, we're still cool right?" If she says yes, give her a little hug and get back to wherever. If she says no, don't apologize again. Just go about your own business.

But waiting 2 weeks to acknowledge is bad. She either forgot about it, and you brought it back up (she now associates you with a bad situation), or if it was the first choice you now look weak.

If you have a blast with a girl, she will remember you as the fun guy. If you're the ass, she will remember what she DOESNT want, and you get left in the cold.

If anything, a phone call saying sorry, or a meeting to say you're sorry would've been ideal.

Chances are she will flake now.
