File first!!! For every one situation where a couple works things out peacefully there is twenty where the woman pretends to play nice and goes behind the guys back and gets a shark lawyer and takes her man to the cleaners. I am one of the twenty.

Never, ever expect a woman to do something that is not in her own best interest.
