"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Some people fake siezures on the street. And when you go to help them, your ass is on the ground and your feet are above your head and there is a knife or gun pointing at you.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

NEVER EVER PLAY CAPT.-SAVE-A-HOE and never try to break up a fight unless it is a very very very good friend of yours or family.
Your "father" as you call your daddy is a coward for teaching you not to stand up for women.

You wouldn't be a coward for avoiding that ass whooping. Even if I was sober and I knew that was going to happen if I stood up for her, I'd turn around grab my girl and get on the subway and juss shake my head like "damn hope she's ok". Some random woman is not worth getting beat down by a mob and then hit by a fvcking cab and then gettin beat down again...

Terrible :( but can't deny it WAS funny

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

The whole thing is sickening, and Cod3r, you're apparently just as much of a thug, along with your girlfriend. I quote you:

"I swear I was almost tempted to hit him myself, my girl even wanted to step on him."

Why, Cod3r? Why were you and your even more violent girlfriend intent upon inflicting more damage to this man? What could possibly be the payoff for you?

Maybe this is what happened;

Violent spectacle causes surge of adrenaline in surrounding crowd. Someone gets the idea that a guy just hit a girl. He then sees Mr Bystander fighting with her.

He looks weak from the blow delivered by the she devil. This gets the courage of the other man up and he decides to take a poke. Smelling weakness, other members of the crowd join in. He has no supporters in the crowd and suddenly beating him up becomes the in thing to do.

Ever notice that when you pull in for gas and there is no one else there, soon other people drive in. This is modelling.

Also we should not forget that aggression transfers readily from its original focus to another focus. This outcome was highly predictable.

Also it was predictable that some chump should comment that men "should" protect women. A mindless comment.

One rule about violence is clear, do not intervene in it unless you wish to deal out violence, because your intentions matter not to those in the vicinity.

Maybe they thought. Hey why's this dude trying to end all the action, let's smack him.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I have videos of this just so you know its not bullshvt and will post them if its appropriate...

Anyway after leaving the club with my girl on Saturday, we witnessed something very horrifying and kind of funny at the same time (sad i know). This girl was obviously drunk and talking crap to some guy who was talking crap back to her. Was about 30 people surrounding this fight, juss looking and yelling... Now I don't know why she was yelling or anything, didn't know how it started, just saw when they were yellin

She ended up charging the guy and hit him a few times in the face (she was a gangsta puerto rican chick) and then the guy pulled back and smacked her in the face really hard, like you'd punch a guy... she was so drunk she didn't fall or nothin, kept hitting the guy... then is where it gets interesting...

The guy looked like he was going to knock the girl out and then another guy grabbed the girl and was trying to calm her down and say, "hey calm down, don't worry, calm down" he had her arms because she was swinging wildly and she turned on HIM!!!!! She forgot about the guy who smacked her and went crazy on the dude tryna help her and he NEVER hit her back...

Then for some UNKNOWN reason, 25 people started beating this guys ass. Dudes came out of nowhere and started punching him and tackled him to the ground and started stomping him. Random people were running over beating the guys ass, he fell on the ground and random girls with heels are coming over and stepping on him... it was ridiculous actually. I dunno why everyone started hitting him, turns out it got to about 30-40 people hitting him and then he ran away and they actually were chasing him down the street...

Imagine that... 40 people chasing one guy down the streeet. He was running in the street and cars are screeching trying not to hit him and then the guy gets hit by a black cab and falls down REALLY hurt and all the people come over and throw him against the cab and keep beating his ass... i neva seen anything like it, more and more people kept running over from like MCdonalds and **** and stomping and beating this guy up...

Funny thing is that there were two cop cars sitting on the street and watching and laughing at this crap. They let that guy get his ass whooped and neva stopped it until the guy got hit by the cab. Then they turned on lights and everyone scattered. I just happened to follow the whole action and got it on tape with my video-phone, its kinda dark but you can definitely hear everything and see the guy gettin beat and hit by the cab, its kinda scary cuz he was juss tryna help...

Btw this happened in Manhattan, NY outside of popular club...

I just remember someone posting something about if they saw a female in need they'd help her out, **** THAT if it ain't my family or my wife or something she's on her own. That guy could have been killed, seriously it ain't worth it. Tryna help and get ya ass beat, that's some crazy stuff there. You guys betta wake up, u don't know what u dealing with. Females are crazy and this just shows me, seriously crazy videos man

I totally agree with the rest of your post though. Christianity is more a tool to corral the masses than anything else, I think. Fear is not the way to enlightenment or eternal paradise or whatever. I feel like the religion is just a tool for politics, dating back to Roman times or even farther. Its the ultimate scare tactic.

Anyways, my views on religion aside... he shouldn't have grabbed the girl. Instead, grab the guy. He's probably the one capable of dishing out the most physical harm, hold him back from killing the poor girl. He could have been a hero or something. Oh well.

Still sounds like something you'd see on Family Guy or somethin.
He should have knocked that girl out. She started the fight.

Reflections:

  1. The girl didn't deserve saving because she was drunk.
  2. The beat down man learnt the lesson of never coming to the aid of a drunk biatch.
  3. The world really is ****ing crazy.
  4. Stay home, and seal up your windows and doors.

Agreed.

On the other hand, if I saw a chick getting raped/mugged/whatever in a back-alley and there was noone around besides me, then yeah, I would take appropiate measures such as calling the cops. However I won't be charging straight in like some goddamned superhero out of a cartoon.

It's not about being a man, it's about common sense.
Have you ever seen a girl getting raped? it's horrible. the only time i've seen it happen once biking through a schoolyard at 3am. I was a pansy back then and kept biking. I called the cops when I got home about it, but that was like 20 minutes later. If I was in that situation today, now i'm a different person...i would have near killed him.

I totally agree, it's not about being 'a man'. It's instead about standing up for what you think is right, regardless of the consequences. I might have gotten beat up if i stepped in, but ill accept that--and have--if its for doing the right thing.

At the end of the day, the only person you have to account for is yourself. I'd rather be the one lying in a hospital bed for afew weeks knowing i did the right thing, than the one living out his life always regretting that moment.

I've stopped a fight between a girl and guy before and taken some beats because of it(nothing like that vid tho) and it isn't fun. But at the end of the day, i don't regret it.

I guess it depends what kind of neighbourhood u grow up in, and the values your parents teach you.

Hey here's an IDEA for YOU. Why don't you go over there and try to stop it from happening. In the meanwhile getting your ass beat and ending up in the ICU... or worse. 6 feet underground in a cedar box.

What you're saying is stupid. Here's why:

1. You don't know the situation and the kind of people you're dealing with.
2. If you can't deflect bullets off your chest, DON'T GET INVOLVED. Its you vs alot of other guys. Who could potentially have weapons.
3. Maybe the person getting their ass beat deserved it. Maybe they did something bad like running over precioul little Muffy who belonged to some dude's sweet little old Grandma. And now he's getting his ass beat for it.

If you want to get involved:

1. Do what you can. Scope out the situation and try to get a good look at the people's faces or get close enough to hear their names or whatever they're talking about. If they have a car: get the licence plate number.

2. If the situation is as bad as you say. CALL THE AUTHORITIES. There's lots of cops around and they can handle this kind of thing. That's what they are there for.

3. If it's a very good friend of yous and you know what's happening and you can take the perpetrator on.. then you do it. But just in case, the dirtier you fight and the sooner you subdue the person.. the better. (Just so they don't have enough time to pull out a gun or a knife.)

4. If it's not a VERY, VERY GOOD friend of yours.. DON'T GET INVOLVED. Call the cops instead and let them deal with it.

5. And lastly. In case you didn't get it the first few times: CALL THE COPS. That's what they are there for. To serve and protect those in need.

If you're not a cop, and you don't have your boys around as backup.. DON'T GET INVOLVED. You make the situation WORSE for you and the other guy/gal by pissing off the attackers more. You can get someone killed instead of just beat by being an idiot.

It's the mob mentality that sets in. Everyone has that. It's because we are all still animals (but with a high IQ). This is kind of like what sharks do: When they smell blood they all just go mad and attack whatever's wounded. Even if its another shark.

It sounds terrible from your point of view, but you gotta admit.. if you just saw all these people attack this guy, you'd wanna get in on it if you thought there was a reason they were punching him.
No I wouldn't.

I realize how sheepish people are and how often people jump to conclusions.

Do you ever go out with some friends... and say there's some sort of disagreement with a person or group of people outside that group of friends. Then both groups are mad.. so next thing you know you're outside and your group is talking sh1t on the other group and acting how your group is so obviously smarter and in the right as compared to the other group? Guess what? The other group is doing the same damn thing. And it seems to me that when i'm out i'm the only voice of reason and can point this out and the only one not all up in arms and the only reason any of this is going on is because everyone are a bunch of nitwits that love drama.

I also don't convict people before the trial. Or get mad at people before i've spoken to them about "what i heard."

Yeah that was the wierd thing, so many joined in it kinda made it 'cool' to hit the guy. Litteraly people were getting out of their cars to come stomp and kick the guy. I'll never forget this really cute indian girl with lil mules on go over and stomp the guys head, that sight will never leave me... sh!t was mad
See, people got to seeing that hitting the guy was a good time and it was consequence free so they did it. They all need their faces beat in and put in cages for public viewing.

Being good is doing the right thing when you know you can get away with not doing the right thing but doing the right thing anyway.

Looks to me like almost no one did the right thing... especially since oh there's already 20 other people beating on him so there's no reason for you to 'help' other than "hey that looks like fun."
