I always try to call to get the first date. They would give me some bs text why you can't pick up or they don't even contact me back. The latter gets dropped. If they do give you a bs text, just reply

The times they are a changing....so either you adapt and learn some damn text game(its way easier anyways than phone) or continue to experience this frustration. I dont understand why guys are holding on to this "a phone call makes me a man damnit and separates me from the bunch and she better respect that".
