"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

This is true...The fact that it is just text takes away from the other tools in a Dj's repetoire. Due to the fact that its text they can take as long as they need to think of a response to advances by you...much different than in person. In person, she cant hide her bodily expressions.

But it's a double edged sword in my experience...because even though she can take as long as she wants to respond to an IM, so can you, giving you time to come up with a ****y&funny comment...

IMO, AIM and whatnot also take away from the mystery you show when first courting a new chick...If you're always online even when you're not there (Have and away message telling where you are/what you're doing) she can always know what you're doing...I personally like to make them wonder what I'm doing, where I am, who I'm with, etc.

Being online with an away message telling where you are doesn't allow that.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
