"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Why is Rent-A-Gent not considered sexist, but "boob ads" selling beer are?

I was surfing the internet and found this gem:

http://rentagent.me/faq1
Q: What inspired the Rent A Gent idea? We attended a few boring bachelorette parties where the oily guy who showed up at the door looked nothing like the guy we chose and couldn’t carry on a 5 minute conversation. We ordered a 6'1 model and got a 5'6 hairy beast. There was also a birthday party of an ex where one of us wanted to bring the most handsome date in NYC and couldn’t find anyone with a short notice. That’s where the Rent A Gent concept of men on demand was born.
Of course, motivating heterosexual men to drink a certain beer brand by having an ad with (gasp) attractive women finding men who drink that beer as attractive themselves is sexist:

The breasts of the woman in this beer ad, for example, are conflated with the cans.
my opinion: DOUBLE STANDARD!

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Because women thrive on double standards.

Equality but only when convenient.

"Female sex bots are sexist, misogynistic, degrading and objectify women"

"What about dildos?"

"Well...ummm....uhhh....dildos empower women to explore their sexuality in an environment free from toxic masculinity."

"So basically you're objectifying a man down to his penis just like a female sex bot."

"No! Stop using common sense to refute me. You're oppressing me with your male facts."
