I am back - my user name used to be Ballie (the veteran surfer). But I'm older and wiser now, thanks to this forum. The thread about the sociopath is so true.I had a LTR with one of them and they are poison! Run Away
I have decided to come back to pass my learnt wisdom on - as I consider myself to be a true DJ now.

I don't live in a big city anymore and am semi retired and living on a farm now.
I have opted out of the rat race and am healthier and fitter as well.
As for women, I have opted out after getting my fingers burnt. Well, there is nothing wrong with being a bachelor after all - and at 56, I am too old to get married after all.

I am glad to see that Scaramouche is still around and Rolo too. Why did I leave? well, work commitments and to be honest I got a bit bored of the same discussions.

I live on my brother in law's farm, called Tramore, with another batchelor in a huge 100 year farm house. The nearest village is Swartberg. There is a country club there and sometimes a bit of los (stray) women come there and you can and do score - some pommy chicks came here a couple of months ago, in their 20's and I scored one of them.

I have a couple of girlfriends in Durban - when I visit there, I do have young female company (sex of course). The litmus paper test is that they must be willing to be a farmer's 'wife', which city chicks aren't prepared to do.

I have written a couple of books about my divorce days called "Broken Man 2007, Broken Man 2008 and Being the Man." which I go through the ups and downs and in outs of a newbie divorced man and how he came right.
This will be published via Kindle one day.
The 10 top bits will be a seperate article and is largely based on that seminal works of da Pook "Book of Pook" in the DJ Bible.

I will comment on other posts again - as I do have time on my hands again.

Semi-retired at 56. Not the halycon days of my early 50's when I earned good money as an Electronics engineer and working as a Design engineer.
Ah those days, in Durbs.

But, I am self employed now and have my own company specializing in Solar panels and farm security alarms and CCTV.

My kids are grown up. My son is 25 and getting married. My daughter is 21 and an IT expert - chip off the old block. As for me, I follow the paleo diet and down to my ideal weight of 72 Kg. No sign of grey in my strawberry blond hair - just a couple in my tache.

I have f***** about 40 different women and aim to make it half a century before I'm 60. Not rolling in tin - strange that it's the attitude and a stiff one that counts with women of all ages.

I can only speak for the US, but being a farmer here is actually attractive to a certain type of woman, the hippie/granola type. I know some scruffy looking farmers who have hot hippie-chick wives.

I am a chicken farmer - those big mothas, we call them zulu chickens, cross bred with the wild geanie foals, not the soft broilers - at all.
I love farm life - its like a dream come true. i can do my own stuff here. i lived on a farm when I was younger and I always wanted to retire on a farm.
Grow my own zol, (dagga) - hey I am from Sud Africa, after all! Chill out and relax.

Why not! I have paid my dues after all. Anyway, time for bed - alone off course - but not lonely at all. How many men can live their dreams at the autumn of their lives?

Good to see you still around - you old silver bullet. That Voortecker Heifer loved not only me, but other guys as well. We had a LTR for 3 years and were even engaged. In the end, the cougar wasn't even discreet any more - so I dumped her! Ha, the b*tch didn't expect that.

Lesson well learnt. I won't make the same mistake again. I don't care if people think I turned into a wussy Beta male. I was in love with her - but her excuse was that she was "single for a long time", as if a wedding band would of made a difference!

As the Bible says in Proverbs 11.22:
"As a ring of gold in a swines snout.
So is a lovely woman without discretion".

Indeed I loved her gentle loving side (Anna), but her dark devious side (Cathy), was a like a Black Widow Spider - devouring her lovers (and husbands).

Well, that is the reason I'm back to warn the young un's about women like her.

Anyway, I'm a confirmed bachelor now and won't waste my hard earned money on any woman. Am I bitter? Not any more. Women come and go, like butterflies in spring - so don't take them seriously. There are plenty of single women out there.
Only a MAN and his mates remain the same - as all us DJs know.

As for the Zulu maidens - ahem, I am too old fashioned and been through the border war against their men. I prefer the Indian girls - even though they taste of curried fish!

Anyway - what happened against the Wallabies in Rugby? NZ won a well deserved victory... Lets wait for the Rugby world cup in 2015.

Yes it is good to have you back.....My old Staffy was a kind hearted old Dog,caught a rat when we were shooting them with sparrow shot in a Barn,just sort of held it in her mouth.but Ratty had other ideas,twisted around and savagely bit her on the mooth,now should she grab hold of one you can hear her jaws snap from yards away...No second chances,no quarter,that's the way you sound Ballie...we need more hardened veterans on this Site...Still this Afrikaaner Woman had me fooled,sounded Churchy and respectable...So why should I forgive in myself what I condemn in her? nothing lasts forever,the only defense against this behaviour is to never give them more than 3-4 nights a week and spin plates!....My observations on SA White Women,particularly Boers,was that the only way to meet one was to see her in Church....Good luck Old Soldier!

Yes, life has hardened me. Not so much as my stint on the Mozambique border. But as one of our muso's the late Syd Kitchens song "Africa is not for sisies" us boere is mos taai (we are tough) - not with women though, then the majority of us show a very soft side.

Cathy was very devious totally amoral woman. Not BPD at all - but worse. She was beautiful and sexy in that afrikaaner way.
After I dumped her - she went straight back to her pastor lover he was married as well!. That was the final straw for me. I became alcoholic (recovered now) and depressed to such an extent that I had a minor stroke.

I only found out later about her "Summer holidays", when we went on holiday, she used to hunt for stray married c*ck. I only found out later that she had fvcked some of the farmers here in Swartberg! It's such a small village after all, only 70 white people. Well, why should I give her another chance? Especially after the pastor for fvck sake? That put me off the Christian religion for life. I am a Jew now and believe in the old testament especially the ten commandments and Proverbs.

Any way that and she are History now. I have a sexy girlfriend in Durban now who is only 40. Sometimes, like a computer you have to change your operating system - swallowing the bitter red pill is only the starting point as many of us have found out. The DJ path is a lonely, but rewarding one and I am here to help.
