It's a terrible idea. It will only distract you from your personal and career goals. In today's society you can be dating 5 people at once and neither of them will care. By not caring, they don't control you. You don't have to sacrifice friends or anything to spend time with them, you just see them at your convenience and have fun, usually sex is involved.

I have someone I can shoot pool with. Some who may want to go mini-golfing. Someone who wants to go lay at the beach and get a tan. Someone who wants to see the new movie that just came out. I obtained all this by simply picking up the phone, reuniting myself with friends, and socializing everywhere I go.

I still get depressed now and then (although not as much) when I think about my ex and the fact that we just couldn't work things out. But then I realize how much better off I am.

I think what happens is a lot of guys are so used to being rejected, that finally when someone cares about them, cooks for them, etc, they think it's good enough and they settle. The reality is that when you are 18 or 19, most of the hot 19 year old girls are interested in a man who is:

1. Older
2. More successful

But I realized, I can obtain more girls and hotter girls now because I'm somewhat successful, and I make myself appear to be a bigger deal than I am. It is unbelievable how some of the girls that wouldn't give me the time of day just 3 years ago are now flocking to me. It's amazing.

I really can't believe how some of my friends were going to go away to college and now they aren't because they are so comfortable with their current girlfriend. That's bull sh!t. Women want to kill your dreams while obtaining there's. Guys in relationships avoid taking the necessary steps to evolve and succeed in their career.

So no way will I ever settle down to another exclusive relationship for awhile. I have no one demanding things from me or having expectations. I don't get attached so I simply just don't care if I hear from a girl in a week or so. I banged a girl a week ago, haven't heard from her since, and don't care. I banged a girl 2 days ago, haven't heard from her since, and don't care. Maybe I'll call them when I have needs one night and maybe not much is going on, it's raining outside, cold out, whatever. Or they'll call for the some reason. In the meantime I don't care who they bang, what they do, who they hang out with, or anything.

Am I talking to you?

Glad to see you're coming along GWNH.. at one point I thought you were going to fall off the cliff due to your ex.

I look around and see my friends making bad decisions with women all the time. It sucks! They get into relationships they aren't prepared for and treat them as marriages. When it all falls apart, they wonder what the hell happened? And even after that some don't see their fault.

In a sense we can't do much about it except for try to enlighten those who need it. If they ultimately want to find out the hard way, that is their call. For now, people like us can feel empowered with the knowledge that we have and use it accordingly. Pretty great isn't it?

I love it. I'm entirely happy now, even without her.

Don't get me wrong, there are times when I still miss her, think about her, wish we could of worked things out, etc. But when I weigh out the pros and cons, you really can't have it all. I'd take what I have now, (freedom) over having her.

She was expensive to maintain, and time consuming to maintain. Now I don't have to explain why I'm saving money (chicks don't understand investing. I recently got into a car accident and needed a new car right away. I put $5,000 down on the car so it helped that I had saved some money up) and I can do whatever I want without explaining it. I don't have to feel guilty for going out with my friends when I told her I was going to bed, and I don't have to feel bad if I don't pick her up so she can be with my friends too.

And besides, casual sex is pretty nice. I'm being serious. It's fresh and exciting everytime, and really never gets old. The emotional attachment to sex is nice, (although most girls are jaded about sex by the age of 19/20 anyway) but all the emotional baggage that comes with it is not something I want to deal with right now.

I'd actually recommend following your heart on this one(cheesy I know). It really depends what YOU want. Do you want to experience many relationships? Or are you happy with just one or two long term ones in your life?

People here are saying "NEVER GET A RELATIONSHIP"... Look a little deeper... Where is that statement coming from? Is it coming from a place of confidence and success with women? Or is it coming from a guy who's been stung and has low confidence with women?

My advice is to follow your intuition and don't be afraid to get burned, to get stung, to make mistakes. I say experience short and longterm relationships, just for the heck of it.

But that's just me...

I agree. I have been trying to say this for awhile. But, some of the guys on here argued with me and chose women over being successful. We will see how far that gets them! But, on the other hand. Being in a relationship at a young age is ok. You gain the experience. But, the important things is you focus on yourself and your career first!!

Cause, like I said in my other post. Women do not get you a nice job, they do not get you into college and ect. Only you do that.

You obviously have a different definition of relationship than I do. Your one seems to include sacrificing your dreams and career for the other partner; my one is merely being monogamous with them.

And, I don't see what's wrong with being in a monogamous relationship at a young age.

What the hell is up with this board. This is ****ing unbelievable. The reason that most of you guys are here because you want to have amazing relationships with women that YOU choose.I will guarantee you guys that you will learn more about women being in a relationship than banging a different girl every weekend. You guys realize that because you are in a relationship does not mean that running attraction stops. It is actually more difficult because you cant be boring, so your attraction game is tested even more. You learn what makes women tick, you realize what they respond to and what they really like.

I have had many great relationships and they all did not work out, but I have absolutely no regrets with any of them. I have learned a lot and they also learned from me.

You see what you did there? Semantics will trip you up online every single time. If he has different girls to hang out with to do different things...thats not the same as banging a different girl every weekend. That's having a team, or spinning plates...and at the end of the day those are still relationships. They just aren't serious exclusive committed relationships.

I totally agree with the poster. Most girls under the age of 25 simply do not care for a relationship regardless of what they tell you. Eventually after a month or two they take you for granted and are not sure of what exactly they want in life anyway.

Instead, sleep with whoever you find attractive, have fun and settle down when you are getting old.

But that's just me...
When I follow my heart I'm leaving her the 90th voice mail, sending the 110th text message, showing up at her job to try and talk things out, and getting no response from her. This girl carved my heart out with a spoon and the last time we spent time together things were great. Yet she got on the phone with me and suddenly flipped out for no reason and it's just weird to have a year long relationship end like that.

I'm not against relationships. I may be in one again. But the moment in becomes a distraction I'm out. I'm saying in general, they are a bad idea at a YOUNG age. And it's true.

It may seem like a relationship is team work. When you're moving in together you may think it's great because now you can get laid every night and only have to pay half the rent. You are wrong. Eventually you will be paying for 1 and a half people and then 2. If she decides to get pregnant you will be paying for 3, or 4, or 5, etc.

I was with a girl that I started a pornography business with. We made amateur clips of us having sex and sometimes she'd have a friend join in. We did live webcam shows and we made money together. At first things were great. Then before you know it she decides that she wants and wants and wants and she'd be spending more and more money on stupid sh!t like new clothes, hair extensions, unnecessary manicures, and whatever the hell she wanted. She saw money as something that came easy but then didn't want to put in the necessary work anymore to keep earning.

I was high on life for a time when I thought life was perfect. Getting paid to have sex, not the other way around. But it doesn't last. I'm telling you. We live in an age where girls grow up watching people like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan unrealistically spend their way into paradise. Think of that show on MTV, the Hills. That's what they want.

I find most girls having unrealistic expectations and constantly in demand to have things their way.

Let me explain. If you're in college, and they are not, they don't get it. They don't understand why you have to save money instead of spend, or stay in and study when she wants to go out. They may act supportive and say "ok baby be a good boy and study" but deep down in their mind they are finding you to be "boring" and looking for someone new.

I met a girl in the summer. For the first time in a while I had free time, and I was fun, not stressed out, had no papers to write, nothing to worry about, it was great. Then I went back to school and slowly the relationship began to deteriorate because she was so accustomed to my "get-up-and-go-anywhere" mentality that I had to sacrifice to work on my degree.

Now that I have obtained my agree I attract more and more attractive women. I tell girls about how I work in television master control, and for the most part they don't even know what the hell that is. But I carry myself as an educated and successful person and the results are unbelievable. Still, I don't find myself getting into relationships because I'm still working on getting another degree, and a relationship is a distraction. It really is.

Even if the girl is in college they tend to be pretty unmotivated or undecided about what they want to do with their career, and the ones that are motivated and striving tend to be the unattractive girls. It's true. The one who is getting a masters degree in psychology and studies all day long is making up for how ****ing unattractive she is.

But the hot girls, the one we are looking for, they want to kill your dreams while achieving theirs. Think about the poor hot chicks that work at hooters. Where do they see themselves in 5 years? I was talking to one that had a useless Masters degree in Art History. I was dating a girl at that time, and as soon as the girl walked away to use the bathroom she came and sat next to me asking me if that was my girlfriend, etc. For her tips? No. They are looking for status. By me telling her about my career she was instantly drawn towards me.

I'm amazed how many people came and bashed this thread when I'm talking about some true stuff here.

True enough. lol bu that goes for most people

Again. true enough. this comes from your experience. i would personally never date a girl who is not in college or not going anywhere in life. People like the girl you mentioned are not worth it. Lazy and unfocused, they just spend all their time playing and getting nowhere

again, if she doesn't understand that you have work to do, than why stress over her? she's not the girl you want to be with

Lol wat? since when are all the successful and focused girls ugly? My gf is very focused, and happens to be very hot. i see very unattractive girls doing nothing in college, wasting time chasing asshat boyfriends or trying to get some rod. but i digress. attractiveness has nothing to do with how focused one is

Sounds like you've been a bit let down by women in the past bro. No one's bashing your thread. but we are merely saying that whether or not you want a relationship is up to you. relationships at a young age are not dumb. they can help you learn bootloads about women, and about people in general
Most girls like the one you described are not chicks you'd want a relationship with anyway, and will someday end up with some rich fool who buy them everything while she's off sneaking around with her Boy toys

I'm amazed how many people came and bashed this thread when I'm talking about some true stuff here.

Most people on this board who are against relationships seem to just be bitter guys.
