I've vowed the same dictum.

It serves me absolutely no purpose in any facet of my life. I also know with this I will lose some really fantastic women. Their ultimate yearning to own me will be an eventuality. I'll miss them all.

Such is the price I'm willing to pay for my unfettered freedom.

I know several dudes, friends, co-workers, customers, who've said these words, "Gotta keep the wife happy." This usually involved Buying something. I bought my house from a guy who said these words between me and him. His wife wanted a bigger garden. Their new house costs 2x as much as mine, easily. It wasn't just the garden. She has a doctorate in agriculture working for the USDA. Sweet gig, but she couldn't afford that house without his income. They just had a baby too, talk about going into debt in true married fashion. You don't Have (in lieu of threat of divorce and monetary damage) to keep the woman "happy" when you're single. She has nothing to gain if you don't.

He does tend to involve himself in very public relationships with older washed up female stars. Has beens. That is a classic gay move. I am not the only one who feels this way. Most insiders in Hollywood have been speculating that he is gay for many years.

I would say that Jack Nicholson is not gay. Never has anyone speculated that he is. Jack and Roman Polanski use to have parties with 14 and 15 year old models at Polanski's apartment in Paris. Totally legal and fine in Paris, but not exactly something that Americans would embrace. I have never heard of Clooney during that in Milan. I have heard of many American rockstars (think Red Hot Chili Peppers) who do though.
