"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Do any of you view girls as conquest and conquest only? I don't mean just getting a girl into bed and then moving on to the next one, all though that's in some way's a simpler form of the condition I'm speaking of. I mean completely breaking down and dominating a girl in between the ears. For me it seems the more of a challange a girl is when I'm first interacting with them determines how much I want to get them to like and in some cases even love me. However after I've acheived said goal of them liking me, I shut off like a light switch. I'm no longer interested in spending anytime with them, seeing them or speaking with them.

This can be as simple as a ONS but can be drug out for months or even years (as I recently discovered) but the result is the same where I ultimately return to my state of solitude, conspiring my next move with another set of girls whom I've ment and have measured for conquest. Is there ever an end to this cycle or is a succesful player doomed to run this repetative loop for the rest of his life?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

sorry im on drugs
oh wait i'm sorry I missunderstood. To awnser your question, all of it seems pretty meaningless in the end. It's not that I wanted it to go on and on and on, it's like a sickness where i'm not mentally satisfied with the situation so I do things to prolonge the engagement until one day, again in my mind, I'm satisfied with what I've done overall then...nothing. I feel no inclinations on calling her and really don't want to see her ever again. Not that I'll go out of my way to avoid her, I just feel nothing.

Now I find myself on square one with two more girls and square errr two with another. The thing is it's getting a little bit more serous as I get older. Feellings and futures are involved and even if it doesn't weigh on myshoulders mentally, I'm not sure If I'll feel the same way emotionally. This sort of thing might be like a time bomb waiting to go off or something.

yup, there is some primal satisfaction from totally dominatiing a female, particularily if she really gave you a run for your money.

But I'm doing what I want to do. I work at one of the top two casino companies on the planet in, what's arguably, the best casino of it's kind for those who are trying to build a career in Hotel Administration such as myself (who graduated with more then the necesary credits for his gaming focus) as it has the best in house training in las vegas and after I've been here long enough will pay for my masters degree. I'll likely be living in this state for the next 10 or so years because of it's low housing cost and low cost of living. My part time job is fantastic and very fun and definatley helps keep me social.

Overall I'm really not doing that bad for myself. Sure there are areas where I need to improve. Some of my...vices need to come to a close to ensure a better future for me. I know my course and I'm adjusting to it, but for some reason when it comes to companionship, I'm doing something horribly wrong. I've had several girlfriends but my relationships never stay on that level for very long. I just lose feeling for them (usually very rapidly) where as the day before I worshiped the ground they walked on and treated them like queens. It's like an overnight loss of attraction/emotions for these people. ONS's I get because I know from the get go that I don't care about them, but if it's someone I've actively pursued with the hopes of a realtionship, should they be differentiated from the same lack of emotion I get from ONSs?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
