Even if she doesn't have a bf, don't "ask her out" damnit. You know your ego can really hurt your game. You might be the smartest man in school, have everyone figured out, but the guys that women date, if you haven't noticed by now, are not the sharpest tools in the shed. They have one main feature: they are social. They might be complete dumbasses but they have social skills that many smarter guys (especially bitter ones with big egos) don't. Many hot girls have bfs, but none of them are worth writing home about man, they're just regular guys, and you could be one of them, or you could sit there and be mad about it.
What are you doing asking her about her bf? That is the worst thing you could do. When you say you've "bs-ed" with her, I hope that doesn't mean you are treating her like your friend or something, because that would be bad. You need to hit her full force with the DJ crap you should have learned from this site: tease her some, make her laugh, give her a hard time, you know, that kind of thing. THAT is the kind of guy she dates, not someone to ask her about how she likes calc class.
