Why do you post?

Just wondering the reasons why some people on this board post so much and spend so much time on it, what motivates you to write lots of those long posts giving advice? what do you get out of it?

What i mean is the people that write really long reply's to people's posts or really long well thought out tips (both appreciated by the way) that must of taken ages to write and i just can't see what they actually get out of it.

This isn't a dig at people that post a lot, i'm just genuinely curious.

I post maybe four or five times a day. Usually, I have a lot of time on my hands because of university or I am at the computer a lot because of studying.

My posts are quick and too the point except my last one and usually only take me three or four minutes.

EDIT: In the last 5 days, I have made 18 posts and seven or eight PMs to people. Most of it is because I am leaving so I dunno.

I've been on this site for several years.
Only in the past few months have I began to post. Especially in the past few weeks.

I just started posting because I now feel I can share my experiences as I begin the final phases of truly becoming the man I want.

This site (and the gym) is about my only source of entertainment to break up the monotony of my overscheduled days. In a way it has become part of my routine even though I feel I have severely outgrown it.

There are occasionally posts by some guys going through a rough time who genuinely can be helped by the advice on this forum by learning from the mistakes and experiences of others. Where else can a guy go to get the truth about women?

The main reason i post is i either want to find something out or I want to get my idea's out in writing as they appear more clear to me. I only post on topics that i'm currently thinking about before i even turn on my computer and then have a look around to see if anyone else has started topics on this, i've recently noticed the benifits of getting idea's written out, sort of engrave them in your mind.

Also I post a lot when i'm bored just for amusement, i'm stopping this though.

The reason i started this thread is i was trying to decide weather or not this is a big waste of time, so i've started limited my time on it to no more than half and hour a day so i get more stuff done.
