"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She's suggesting an implausible scenario.
It's impossible to "accidentally" go to a music festival, which was happening at the rawhide center that day.

A series of steps are needed to get in.

A) She would have to "accidentally" buy a $100 ticket.

B) She would need an "accidental" ride there.

C) She would have to "accidentally" wait behind 40 or 50 people in line to get in.

D) Security would have to "accidentally" pat her down for drugs.

E) She would "accidentally" buy water because she was thirsty.

It's extremely silly to say this was all an accident

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Let me see... you're right, she can obviously afford going to the festival, and add to the fact that she's been there before, then there's nothing accidental at all.

Now, let's move past the words and change our focus on to the post's motive: why would she post that, and speak like that?

Here's one reason why: women post photos online only for attention and validation (common sense). Looking further, her use of the word "accidentally" implies to men viewing her post that she is adventurous and quirky and likes to have fun and enjoys being a bad girl, but only a few men will notice the underlying implication that she is a fun liar to be with. Also, a woman doesn't just post a close-up of her ass willy-nilly.

Moreover, jokes are prevalent in online posts, so that may be her attempt on humorous romp, and believe it or not, some men enjoy when they talk like this because it's cute, unknowingly turning her into some kind of adorable, divine figment of a human.

Social media really drives women's solipsism nuts.
