Why do women insist on talking about politics?

/Rant begin

From my experience, women who have some kind of stance have absolutely no control in keeping their views to themselves especially even after I've clearly let it be known that I don't want to discuss politics with them.

Woman: Who are you voting for?
Me: In my opinion, nothing can be of benefit by talking about politics between us.
Woman: Are you voting for Trump? You know he wants you out too.
Me: It doesn't matter who I support. The only thing that matters is what's happening between you and me right now.
Woman: There are some things that I agree with Trump, but then I thought about it and realized that the people who he's trying to push out include you and me.
Me: ... (now trying my best to change subject)

I'm usually able to change the subject after about 5 minutes of this. But still...it annoys the sh*t out of me that they just can't STFU about it then and there when I ask them to.

What's even worse is that my recent experience with this was with a female business partner. I'm old enough to keep cool and remember that chicks in general base everything off of emotion. Also, me proving her wrong detail by detail, fact by fact, will do absolutely nothing for me. It will only increase her b*tch mode and make things even more difficult for me in the future.

Anyways, just felt like sharing.

You might consider figuring out your own political views, and then sort for women who share them so you don't end up with this same problem over and over.
