I can see the appeal of Marilyn Monroe to Western chicks.

Firstly, they mistakenly believe she was "one of them". ie : fat or borderline fat.

Secondly, she said this:

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.” - Marilyn Monroe

Which obviously will make every one of our present day self entitled chicks salivate at her "sassiness and moxie". They love quoting that on their chickbook and sh!t.

Thirdly, modern women are star fvckers and celebrity worshippers. It doesn't get much better than acting in Hollyweird blockbusters and getting banged by the president of the United States. That's like the pinnacle of achievement for most modern women.

Come to think of it I'd be suprised if our women didn't idolize Marilyn Monroe.
